We want everyone to know someone who knows Jesus
God loved the world so much that He sent His only Son Jesus, so that all who believe in Him will not perish but have ever lasting life. That's good news for the world! We want everyone to have the opportunity to hear about it.
We are a church that believes the Bible is the Word of God.
The Bible says that Jesus is God the Son who laid aside His glory in Heaven and chose to come to Earth to live among us in human flesh and show us what it is to be truly human as God created us to be. We all have a debt before God because we have sinned against God. Father God loves us so much, that He sent His Son Jesus to die on the cross for our sins and rise from death on the third day, so that anyone who believes in Jesus will be adopted as children of God and receive eternal life. He told His followers that He was sending them into the world to tell the world about Jesus, but that they should wait to be clothed with power from on high, because they would need the Helper, God the Holy Spirit, to empower them to complete the task. After Jesus ascended into Heaven, the disciples were celebrating Pentecost when the Holy Spirit came upon them. They then went out into all the world to tell others about Jesus. We as a church are part of a long chain of faithful followers of Jesus who have passed on the good news from one generation to another that Jesus is King and has defeated the power of death. Everything we do is to continue taking that Good News into all the world, by the power of the Holy Spirit and build Jesus' Kingdom here on earth, as it is in Heaven.
